Background

Outside Church

At Movilla Abbey Anglicans and Methodists share the building together and much of the worship is joint. We have a joint ministry to the young people of the area including uniformed youth organisations, The Boy's Brigade, Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, St John's Badgers. We employ a full time youth and family worker who co-ordinates a full youth programme alongside his Methodist counterpart. Youth ministry is provided to all regardless of faith or none, our hope being to bring children and young people to know the Lord Jesus.

We are at present seeking God's vision for Movilla Abbey and will update this page in due course.

An opportunity to take time aside at the beginning of Lent, to pray and fast, and to seek God's forgiveness through repentance.
